Border was designed as part of the Bernhardt Design Sponsor Studio at ArtCenter College of Design. The piece draws from the fluid momentum of skating — translating that sense of effortless balance into a side table that feels both structurally confident and visually weightless.

The design process combined SolidWorks engineering with CNC fabrication, resolving the technical challenge of achieving slim, curved profiles without compromising structural integrity. The result is a form that suits both residential and hospitality environments.

Border was selected for exhibition at NeoCon 2023 and ICFF × WantedDesign Manhattan 2023 with Bernhardt Design, and received coverage in Design Milk, Azure Magazine, and The Architect's Newspaper.
